The goal is to activate the local population to culture work and to guarantee folk traditions
continuity and development. A central role in the project have the folk tradition modern
hybrid media-, TV- and radio and also exhibition activity's.
- Preserve the Barent region culture and folk tradition
- Strengthen the peoples identity
- Document today's culture for coming generations
- Create and develop new documentation-variations and
collection methods for the future "virtual life"

The site gives information about Saivaara Stone-Age village. It is going to be in English, German,
Finnish and Swedish. There is a map on how to get there. Later on it's going to be some virtual tours.
